The Catholic University of Pusan is a small private university in the port city of Busan, in south-eastern South Korea. Its history began in 1964, when the Maryknoll School of Nursing opened there.
Nursing and health sciences have always been its main focus. Alongside them, it has schools of environmental science, business administration, computer information engineering and social welfare. Its small size means small classes and more attention from teaching staff.
International applicants should know that almost all teaching is in Korean, so it pays to learn the language early, especially for health programmes.
