Language requirements for admission
Each university and programme sets its own requirements. We check them against your list before preparation starts.
Turkish is the main language of instruction at most universities in Türkiye, and for many programmes it is a condition of admission.
SourceYou can also be admitted without Turkish: a preparatory year follows, usually with 4–6 hours of language a day, and a C1 certificate is expected by the end.
SourceStudents who do not pass at the end of the preparatory year get extra time and another attempt before the next academic year.

Frequently asked questions
Can I study in Türkiye without Turkish?
Yes, many universities admit students without it; a preparatory year aiming at C1 follows. The higher your level at the start, the easier that year goes.
Do I need Turkish on an English-taught programme?
For admission to an English-taught programme the university checks your English. What Turkish it expects during your studies varies — we check it for your universities.
How do the lessons work?
Online, one-to-one or in a mini-group. In the first lesson the teacher assesses your level and plans the route to the exam you need. We match you with a native or Russian-speaking teacher to suit your goal and timeline.
