Language requirements for admission

Each university and programme sets its own requirements. We check them against your list before preparation starts.

TOPIK comes in two parts: TOPIK I covers levels 1–2, TOPIK II levels 3–6.

Korean-taught degrees usually require level 3 for admission and level 4 for graduation; English-taught programmes are the exception.

Some programmes set the bar higher: Yonsei asks for TOPIK 5 or above for medicine, dentistry, nursing and pharmacy.

Some universities accept a university language centre certificate instead of TOPIK: Seoul National takes level 4 from its own centre.

How we match a tutor

From your request to the first lesson in four steps

01

Request and introduction

We talk through your goal — an exam, admission, work or a move — and a schedule that suits you.

02

Level test and choosing a tutor

We find your starting level (or zero) and match a tutor — a native speaker or a Russian-speaking teacher — to your goal and pace.

03

First lesson

You meet your tutor and try the format; we adjust the plan if needed.

04

Regular lessons and progress

Check-ins and feedback after every block — you see real progress, not a feeling.

IVQuestions

Frequently asked questions

What TOPIK level do I need for admission?

Usually level 3 at entry and level 4 by graduation. Medicine and some other programmes ask for level 5 or above — we check the requirement for your universities.

Can I study in Korea in English?

Yes. English-taught programmes do not require TOPIK for admission; the university tests your English instead.

How do the lessons work?

Online, one-to-one or in a mini-group. In the first lesson the teacher assesses your level and plans the route to the exam you need. We match you with a native or Russian-speaking teacher to suit your goal and timeline.
