China Medical University (CMU) is one of China's oldest medical schools, tracing its roots to 1931, when it was founded in Jiangxi as a Red Army medical school; today it's based in Shenyang, a major industrial hub in northeast China. Not to be confused with Capital Medical University (ccmu) in Beijing — these are two separate schools.
