PSL is a public research university located in the heart of Paris, uniting 13 leading educational and scientific institutions including École Normale Supérieure, Mines Paris, Université Paris-Dauphine, and others. It ranks 28th in the world in QS (2026), with approximately 17,000 students and 2,900 researchers. Its scientific standing is confirmed by 28 Nobel laureates among its historical members and more than 150 ERC grants awarded. PSL represents a unique scientific community of human scale, where interdisciplinary dialogue and innovation permeate all aspects of academic life.

Academic strengths at PSL span the full spectrum of disciplines—from fundamental sciences such as physics and mathematics to engineering and humanities. In THE's subject tables the university ranks 25th globally in arts and humanities and 21st in physical sciences, and is strongly positioned in computer science. PSL offers 77 diplomas in initial education programs, including 14 bachelor's degrees, 57 master's degrees, and 2 doctoral programs. Approximately 20 master's programs are taught entirely or partially in English, attracting international students from around the world. Research culture is deeply embedded in teaching, with opportunities to engage in 140 laboratories across the university.

International students, including Russian speakers, may apply to PSL programs through several pathways depending on citizenship, country of residence, and degree level. Students residing in countries participating in the "Études en France" procedure (which covers most nations) apply through that system for bachelor's programs, or via the MonMaster platform for master's programs. Admission procedures, application deadlines, and language requirements (English B2 for English-taught programs, French B1–C1 for French-taught programs depending on the program) vary by target program and admission year—applicants should verify current requirements with PSL's official website or admissions office before applying. The university provides support to international students through the PSL Welcome Desk, which assists with visa processing, housing search, health insurance, and integration into life in Paris.

What admission to this university costs

Our published prices are for China, where the process is worked out to the detail and the price is fixed. Everywhere else the amount of work varies case by case, so we quote after we have understood your situation. Inventing a figure before that would not be honest.

Common questions about admission

Why apply through UNIPROFI specifically?

UNIPROFI is about a well-thought-out application and a strong outcome: we build an application path around your profile, goals and the requirements of your selected universities. You work with mentors who are current students or graduates of these schools, so you get real understanding of the system, campuses and opportunities — not theory. We take on complex cases (including minors and admission without an 11th-grade diploma), build an individual strategy for your profile and goals, and support you through every stage, from documents to your visa.

Do you guarantee admission?

We don't offer "guarantees for the sake of a sale," because no one can directly influence a university's decision. What we do is structure everything to minimize the risk of rejection — matching you to the right universities, building a strong application strategy, and preparing documents carefully. Any refund or re-application arrangement is governed only by the current service agreement and the circumstances of the case.

What are my actual chances of getting in?

We do not state a universal admission probability because the decision belongs to the university. We instead assess your profile, programme requirements and application strategy.

Can I apply on my own — why do I need you?

You can, but most students end up losing time, making mistakes, or settling for weaker universities. We save you months, help you start at a stronger level, and prevent the mistakes that can cost you admission.
