Germany: the APS certificate

We check whether you need the APS certificate and prepare your documents and application.

$160

The request pays for nothing. A manager confirms the contents, timing and price, and only then do you pay.

The price of our work. University, consulate and partner fees are paid separately, on their invoices, with no markup from us.

The APS certificate (Akademische Prüfstelle) is required of applicants with a school certificate or degree from China, India or Vietnam. It is issued by the academic evaluation office at the German embassy. We check whether it applies to you and prepare the application and documents.

It helps to start several months before your university deadline: APS sets its own processing time. Requirements depend on the university, programme and admission year.

What you get
  • A check of whether APS is required for your citizenship and diploma
  • A list of documents and the application steps
  • A check of the application and package
  • A timeline relative to your university deadline
Who it is for
  • · You finished school or university in China, India or Vietnam
  • · You are applying to Germany and do not know whether you need APS
  • · You want to plan the timing in advance
How long it takes

Usually 3–5 working days to prepare the package. APS does the verification itself, so leave a margin of time.

What is paid separately
  • · The APS fee, on the office's invoice.
  • · Translation and certification of documents, if needed.
Requirements depend on the university, programme and admission year.
