Germany: blocked account and insurance
We help you choose a blocked-account provider and assemble the documents on funds and insurance for your visa.
This service is on request, through a vetted partner. It is arranged through a manager; there is no instant payment.
The request pays for nothing. A manager confirms the contents, timing and price, and only then do you pay.
The price of our work. University, consulate and partner fees are paid separately, on their invoices, with no markup from us.
For a German student visa you must show that you have enough money to live on. One way to show it is a blocked account. We explain how it works, help you choose a provider and put together the documents on the account and health insurance.
The provider opens and runs the account. That is the partner part of the service, so it is arranged through a manager. We confirm the amount required and the accepted ways of proving funds against the embassy's requirements on the date you apply. Requirements depend on the university, programme and admission year.

Common questions
How much has to be in the account?
The embassy or consulate sets it on the date you apply. We give you the current amount when we arrange it.
Does everyone need a blocked account?
No. There are other ways to prove funds, for example a confirmed scholarship. We check which of them your consulate accepts when we arrange the service.
