Warsaw University of Technology is one of Poland's oldest and leading technical universities; in 2026 it is marking its 200th anniversary. Its educational offer covers all key areas of technical and related sciences, so for future engineers who want to study in the Polish capital, it is one of the natural first addresses.
The university's academic focus is technical sciences and related disciplines. Alongside programmes in Polish, it offers many fields taught in English, with first- and second-degree studies and a Doctoral School for those continuing in research. Admission for international candidates is coordinated by the International Students Office. Registration takes place through the IRK system at irk.pw.edu.pl/en-gb. For bachelor's programmes, after receiving a "qualified" status you upload your admission documents, including a legalised/apostilled high school leaving certificate and an eligibility statement confirming that you may apply for Bachelor's degree studies. Separate procedures apply for different levels of study and for international candidates who do not hold Polish citizenship.
