Shortlist a few and we'll compare them side by side and assess each one.
Founded in 1386, Heidelberg University is Germany's oldest university and one of Europe's leading research institutions. It stands among a select group of German universities funded under the federal Excellence Strategy and has succeeded in all three competitive funding rounds. For over 600 years it has shaped the scientific and intellectual life of the country; among its alumni and faculty are Nobel laureates, philosophers, and scholars whose names are known far beyond Germany's borders. The university's reputation rests on a foundation of continuous research culture and commitment to fostering independent scientific thinking in its students.
The university offers more than 160 fields of study and holds leadership positions in medicine, life sciences, humanities, and fundamental research. Its Medical Faculty ranks among Europe's finest; biology, physics, and chemistry also hold national leadership status. At Master's level, the university provides numerous programmes taught entirely in English, making it accessible to international professionals. Research is integrated into the curriculum from the first semester: students are trained in independent inquiry and publication in accordance with international standards, preparing them for doctoral study and advanced research careers.
International students receive comprehensive support through the International Relations Office, which provides advising in Russian and assists with adaptation, accommodation, and visa and insurance procedures. Bachelor's programmes are primarily taught in German (requiring German at DSH-2 level, approximately C1); admission requires a recognised secondary-school diploma. Master's programmes are more accessible to English speakers: many are taught entirely in English, though some everyday German is helpful for life outside the classroom. The university is located in the historic city of Heidelberg in Baden-Württemberg; for students from outside the EU/EEA, tuition is charged (approximately €1,500 per semester for Master's programmes). Prospective applicants should verify current language requirements, funding details, and application deadlines with the university's International Relations Office.

Almost everywhere the language is checked before admission, not after. We prepare for the exams admissions offices actually ask for.

What admission to this university costs

What the work covers for this countryCommon questions about admission
Why apply through UNIPROFI specifically?
UNIPROFI is about a well-thought-out application and a strong outcome: we build an application path around your profile, goals and the requirements of your selected universities. You work with mentors who are current students or graduates of these schools, so you get real understanding of the system, campuses and opportunities — not theory. We take on complex cases (including minors and admission without an 11th-grade diploma), build an individual strategy for your profile and goals, and support you through every stage, from documents to your visa.
Do you guarantee admission?
We don't offer "guarantees for the sake of a sale," because no one can directly influence a university's decision. What we do is structure everything to minimize the risk of rejection — matching you to the right universities, building a strong application strategy, and preparing documents carefully. Any refund or re-application arrangement is governed only by the current service agreement and the circumstances of the case.
What are my actual chances of getting in?
We do not state a universal admission probability because the decision belongs to the university. We instead assess your profile, programme requirements and application strategy.
Can I apply on my own — why do I need you?
You can, but most students end up losing time, making mistakes, or settling for weaker universities. We save you months, help you start at a stronger level, and prevent the mistakes that can cost you admission.
