Kyonggi University is a private university in South Korea. It grew out of a teachers' school opened in Seoul in 1947, became a college in 1964, opened its Suwon campus in 1979 and gained university status in 1984. It now has two campuses: the main one in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, and a second in Seodaemun District, Seoul. More than 17,000 undergraduate and graduate students study across the two.

The university has 11 colleges with 63 programmes and 12 graduate schools. Its main fields are tourism and hospitality, arts and design, business, international studies, environmental engineering and architectural engineering. It also runs a Graduate School of Hallyu, devoted to Korean pop culture, and a Graduate School of Tourism. Many well-known actors and singers studied here, among them Ju Ji-hoon, Song Seung-heon and Kim Hyung-jun of SS501.

Kyonggi has partnerships with 152 universities in 31 countries and more than 650 international students. Some courses are taught in English, and there is a Korean language programme for those still learning. Before you apply, check the language of your programme and which of the two campuses it runs on.

Need the language to apply?

Almost everywhere the language is checked before admission, not after. We prepare for the exams admissions offices actually ask for.

Common questions about admission

Why apply through UNIPROFI specifically?

UNIPROFI is about a well-thought-out application and a strong outcome: we build an application path around your profile, goals and the requirements of your selected universities. You work with mentors who are current students or graduates of these schools, so you get real understanding of the system, campuses and opportunities — not theory. We take on complex cases (including minors and admission without an 11th-grade diploma), build an individual strategy for your profile and goals, and support you through every stage, from documents to your visa.

Do you guarantee admission?

We don't offer "guarantees for the sake of a sale," because no one can directly influence a university's decision. What we do is structure everything to minimize the risk of rejection: matching you to the right universities, building a strong application strategy and preparing documents carefully. If you complete the whole process under your plan and are not admitted to any of the universities we applied to, the service agreement lets you choose: a refund minus costs already incurred (university fees, translations, courier) or a free re-application for the next intake.

What are my actual chances of getting in?

We do not state a universal admission probability because the decision belongs to the university. We instead assess your profile, programme requirements and application strategy.

Can I apply on my own — why do I need you?

You can, but most students end up losing time, making mistakes, or settling for weaker universities. We save you months, help you start at a stronger level, and prevent the mistakes that can cost you admission.
