The University of Wrocław is a public research university in Wrocław, Poland, and the largest institution of higher learning in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. Founded in 1701, it has more than 100,000 graduates since 1945, including about 1,900 researchers, many of whom have received the highest awards for their contributions to scientific scholarship.
