WSB University was founded in 1995 in Dąbrowa Górnicza and was called Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu until 2018. It now teaches in 10 locations across southern Poland and in Warsaw, including Kraków, Katowice and Gliwice. It is one of 30 Polish universities funded under the Ministry of Education and Science's Regional Excellence Initiative.
There are 23 fields of study across economics, management, humanities, social sciences, technical subjects and health. You can take a bachelor's, a master's, an MBA or a place at the doctoral school. Doctoral degrees are awarded in four disciplines: management and quality sciences, pedagogy, security sciences, and civil engineering, geodesy and transport. The bachelor's in Computer Science holds the EUR-ACE label, as do the bachelor's and master's in Transport.
The university takes part in Erasmus and has about 60 bilateral agreements with universities abroad. Managers from major Polish employers help shape the programmes and teach classes, which keeps study close to working life. Before you apply, check which city runs your programme.
