The University of Granada (UGR) is a public university in the Spanish city of Granada, founded in 1531. It is one of the largest and most prestigious public universities in the country; according to the English Wikipedia, it is the fourth largest in Spain by student numbers, with more than 60,000 students. Besides Granada, the university has campuses in Ceuta and Melilla.
Teaching takes place across 17 faculties. The university is particularly known for its Center for Modern Languages (CLM), which receives more than 10,000 international students every year. In 2014, international students voted UGR the best university in Spain.
