The University of Cordoba (Universidad de Córdoba, UCO) has been growing in the south of Spain since 1972. It describes itself as a university with an agri-food vocation, and that sums up its character well: farming and food sit at the centre, with other fields built around them.

Its strengths are science, technology, and agriculture and food. If you want to work in food production, biology or engineering for the farm sector, Cordoba belongs near the top of your list. Its engineering school also takes international exchange students.

Exchange students go through the international office, known as ORI. You need an application form, plus a Learning Agreement if your home university does not provide its own. Documents must be typed, not handwritten. At the engineering school the deadline is 31 July for the first semester or a full year and 31 December for the second semester. The location helps too: the AVE high-speed train reaches Madrid in 2 hours and Seville in 45 minutes. Requirements depend on the university, programme and intake year.

Need the language to apply?

Almost everywhere the language is checked before admission, not after. We prepare for the exams admissions offices actually ask for.

Common questions about admission

Why apply through UNIPROFI specifically?

UNIPROFI is about a well-thought-out application and a strong outcome: we build an application path around your profile, goals and the requirements of your selected universities. You work with mentors who are current students or graduates of these schools, so you get real understanding of the system, campuses and opportunities — not theory. We take on complex cases (including minors and admission without an 11th-grade diploma), build an individual strategy for your profile and goals, and support you through every stage, from documents to your visa.

Do you guarantee admission?

We don't offer "guarantees for the sake of a sale," because no one can directly influence a university's decision. What we do is structure everything to minimize the risk of rejection: matching you to the right universities, building a strong application strategy and preparing documents carefully. If you complete the whole process under your plan and are not admitted to any of the universities we applied to, the service agreement lets you choose: a refund minus costs already incurred (university fees, translations, courier) or a free re-application for the next intake.

What are my actual chances of getting in?

We do not state a universal admission probability because the decision belongs to the university. We instead assess your profile, programme requirements and application strategy.

Can I apply on my own — why do I need you?

You can, but most students end up losing time, making mistakes, or settling for weaker universities. We save you months, help you start at a stronger level, and prevent the mistakes that can cost you admission.
